LSE Ukrainian Society Year End Review:




Dear friends,

I would just like to thank you for all your participation and help throughout the year. We have grown in membership and experience.

For a small society we have accomplished quite a bit although member retention has been low, those who did come out a help, I send out to you a big thank you. I would like to especially thank Oleksij O, Sasha M, Annya G, George P and Pavlo M. Your help through out the year has been in valuable.I would also like to thank our newcomers for their energy.

We have several events coming up in the fall which I have been organizing in cooperation with Nadia Kravets(Oxford) and the British Ukrainian Society.

1-October 9th Panel Discussion to be held at Westminister :

The event will be chaired by Stephen Byers MP .

Lastly,

I would like to formally announce my departure from LSE (finalized this summer)। I will be transferring my doctoral studies to Nuffield College at the University of Oxford where I will taking over the presidency of the Ukrainian Society there.Thus, from October 2007 Sasha Muitikova and Pavlo Maherovski will be running the LSE Ukrainian Society. And thus any questions, at that time, should be directed to them.
